Foremay’s TC166 Family SSD and flash hard drives are high value,
high performance to price ratio solid state drive products that are suitable
for personal computing and consumer electronic
devices. The TC166 Family is geared towards
applications that require low power consumption,
long battery life, robustness against shock/
vibration/ drops, long life-time, data protection
and security, noiseless operation, low heat
generation, and improved system performance as well
as being light, slim, and instant on.
The
TC166™ W-Series solid state drives
are the flash hard drives designed to support
Windows 7 TRIM command which improves sustainable
writing speed, prevents writing performance
degradation over time and extends the life of solid
state drive. Windows 7 TRIM command is also
supported by selected models of Foremay’s
EC188 and
SC199 product
families. All Foremay SSDs supporting Window 7 also
backward support Windows Vista, Windows XP and
Windows 2000.
The TC166 Family is made with premium NAND flash.
By leveraging patented flash management technologies,
Foremay's TC166 family SSDs
significantly increase the reliability and
life-time, and provide unprecedented vibration,
shock and drop resistance and tolerance.
The TC166 Family SSDs are rigorously qualified in
Foremay’s compatibility labs with strict hardware
and software testing standards for consistency and
functionality. Using Foremay’s TC166 SSDs also
reduces maintenance cost, which is essential for
rugged markets to lower the total cost of ownership
(TCO).
There are two major series within TC166
Family - the TC166 W-series and TC166 S-series. The
TC166 family is available in a wide
range of form factors and capacities to fit any
application. Select models are available to support
hardware encryption and with security key features
to enhance data protection.
